I’m thrilled to announce that version 1.3.0 is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store!
This latest update is a product of the valuable feedback you’ve all shared with me, and I’m incredibly grateful for your engagement and suggestions.
If you’re enjoying Sonuby, please consider leaving a review on the App Store - it would mean the world to me.
Here’s what’s new in version 1.3.0:
With the integration of the latest meteoblue API, the accuracy and reliability of the app’s weather forecasts have been significantly improved across the board:
Nowcasting: The next 1-6 hours are now more accurate with the addition of new data sets from satellites, radar and weather stations.
Temperature forecasts: Expect more accurate forecasts for mountain peaks and high elevations.
Precipitation details: Improved forecasts and probabilities to help you plan for rainy days.
Regional Forecasts: Especially improved wind forecasts for South and Central America.
Surf Waves: An all-new feature for surf enthusiasts that details the height of waves as they approach the shore.
Decide faster on your next surf trip with this helpful overview of the next 7 days
See low and mid-level cloud coverage even faster with the new Skydiving Weekly Overview.
The new weekly overview for surfers includes a number of useful metrics such as daily surf wave height, swell height, wave period and direction, and enhanced mode details for wind and water temperature.
A comprehensive weekly overview now provides detailed information on cloud cover, wind, sunshine hours, and visibility specifically for the skydiving community.
I’ve reorganized the layout to place the Weekly Overview directly below the Current Weather module for easier access. In addition, the hourly forecast now includes precipitation amounts, streamlining your day planning.
I’m committed to making Sonuby the best and most user-friendly weather app out there.
Thank you for your continued support of Sonuby. I’m excited for you to experience these new features and improvements. Your feedback is incredibly important to me, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts and suggestions via the Sonuby Feedback Board.
Here’s to staying informed and prepared for whatever the weather throws at us!
